Principal's Welcome Message
Dear St. Ann Ancaster Catholic School community,
Welcome to another school year at St. Ann. It is wonderful to see our returning families and exciting to get to know the new families that have joined our community this year.
We are a proud feeder school to Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary School and are so fortunate to be located right beside St. Ann Church. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with Father Peter Tuyen Nguyen and the parish team.
Through a collaborative approach, the students’ academic, emotional and spiritual needs will be met through integrating curriculum with faith and culture. Students will be encouraged to determine and develop their God-given talents and reach academic success. We will strive to provide a positive, inclusive and responsive learning environment that fosters a love of learning and maintains the worth and dignity of all. We will offer opportunities for all students to learn and reach their full potential, shine as environmental stewards, become responsible citizens, inquisitive thinkers, collaborative problem solvers and role models for our Catholic Faith.
We use a Restorative Practice and progressive discipline approach when addressing conflict in order to support our students to help them be the best version of themselves. This is only possible with the strong partnership of home and school.
Using Jesus’ accompaniment of his disciples on the road to Emmaus as a model, we too will accompany the students as they grow and develop in their own unique ways.
I look forward to continuing to build and strengthen relationships with the staff, students, parents and community partners this year.
Yours in Catholic Education,
Mrs. Virginia Paci
Principal
